The North Cyprus Society for the Protection of Birds and Nature (Kuskor) is a non-governmental organization whose purpose is to protect and conserve the birds and nature of Cyprus.
Background:
Kuskor was established in 1989 and since then has been active in organising several environmental education campaigns, bird watching sessions, volunteering events and other activities which contribute to the protection of birds, wildlife and habitats of Cyprus.
Much of our work in recent years has been ‘behind the scenes’, but with some of our current projects, such as the Cyprus Nature Library and Important Bird Area’s Project we are now able to start stepping out from the background and make an even bigger difference to the protection of birds and nature of Cyprus.
